We waited almost 8 years to add a puppy from outside our kennel to our breeding program.  Onyx was worth the wait!  She is a beautiful black brindle with white female.  Her headpiece is everything we could have hoped for.  She has lovely movement and an attitude that won't stop.  She has graduated several obedience classes and has started agility training.  

Onyx started her show career at the Rarities/North American Kennel Club shows at the end of October 2007.  She was awarded 3 Group 1 Puppy and 2 Best Junior Puppy in Show!  She has also earned a UKC Championship at 10 months of age and has 10 points towards her AKC Championship.  Onyx has taken a break from the show rings for motherhood.  She will be searching for majors wins in the summer of 2010.   Onyx is co-owned with Kumakura Akitas.

She has also obtained her CGC and Temperament Test titles.  She also passed Delta therapy dogs testing in May 2010.
